#AskObama: Where Twitter’s Town Hall Left Us Hanging
On June 30, 2011 the official White House Twitter account announced a Twitter Town Hall with President Obama where questions source from the Twittersphere would be answered during a live webcast. The Town Hall, which took place on July 6, 2011, was an exciting glimpse into the future of how politicians interact with their constituents. And, of course, it was a momentously validating day for the power of Twitter as a communication platform.
